Stone Setting Techniques - 10.00 - 4.00 pm £90

This course is suitable for students who have attended the introductory course or have experience of working with PMC. A one-day course where we explore techniques involved in setting laboratory produced and semi-precious stones in PMC. Setting styles covered include gypsy, bezel, donut and making collets to set unusual shaped stones.  We also talk about using commercially produced settings and the suitability of stones for firing in the kiln.  Included in the cost is 16gm PMC3, a selection of cubic zirconia and the use of PMC syringe and sheet.
