Suitable for students who have attended the introductory course or have experience of working with PMC and of particular interest for jewellers. 
 
Adding gold to your work is a brilliant way of lifting it to a different class and during the day we will explore exciting techniques involved in combining gold with PMC.  Techniques that we cover include the application of 22k gold slip and an ancient Korean technique called Keum-boo which involves fusing 24K gold sheet onto fine silver. We will also be covering a process to enable you to make your own low-relief textures using polymer clay.  These textures can be imprinted onto PMC and the fired pieces will be suitable for the Keum-Boo technique.

Bring your PMC pieces to embellish with gold and/or make something new on the day. Included in the cost is the use of 22kgold slip and 24k sheet.  PMC may be purchased, if required.
